SAFe® LPM - Lean Portfolio Management Training
It is one of the seven core competencies of the Lean Enterprise, each of which is essential to achieve business agility. Each core competency is supported by a specific assessment that allows the organization to assess its capabilities.
Lean Portfolio Management defines how a SAFe portfolio is a collection of value streams for a specific business domain within an organization.
Each value stream provides one or more solutions that help the organization achieve its business strategy. The value streams develop solutions or products for external customers or create solutions for internal operational value streams.
Typically, a SAFe portfolio can govern the entire solution set for a small to medium-sized enterprise. Larger enterprises often require multiple portfolios, usually for each business area, business unit, or business domain.
